This answered countless questions, provided real photos and reviews from other couples, and — for a self-described Type A person — helped build trust that the resort would deliver. Highly recommended for any couple who wants to feel more in control of the process.

The result: a photographer they trusted completely, familiar with their style, at a cost that made financial sense. Worth exploring with your photographer before defaulting to a resort vendor.

✨ Real budget breakdown — Ultimate package, $10–11k all-in They kept their wedding package and add-ons to $10,000–$11,000 total. Here's exactly what they included: DJ service, hair and makeup by Styling Trio, 4-shot cold fireworks, fairy lights, 8-hour videography, flower corsages for the gazebo (doubled as sweetheart centerpiece), bridesmaid flowers repurposed as reception centerpieces, and one large bouquet instead of corsages and boutonnieres.
