The reception — it was almost surprising how many guests shut it down completely. A ton of fun celebrating with friends and family all night long.
Favorite Thing About the Resort
The location and layout of Hyatt Ziva Cancun — multiple beaches, multiple pools, and plenty of bars, yet surprisingly easy to navigate for a large wedding group. Guests could always find each other and hang out together throughout the week, which made the whole celebration feel connected from arrival to departure.
Recommended Excursion
Golf — Cancún has excellent courses nearby and it's a great way for guests to spend a free day off the resort.

Find a resort that you are confident you and your guests will love — and Hyatt Ziva Cancun delivered on that completely. Their guests said it was one of their favorite resorts they'd ever been to. Remember that your guests are spending real money to come celebrate with you, so choose a resort that feels like a vacation for them too.
And don't panic if it feels like not much has been planned in the early stages. The wedding coordinators at the resort know exactly what they're doing and will keep you on schedule. They typically don't need everything finalized far in advance — trust the process.
