Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - July 2008

Kim and I spent four days in Puerto Vallarta in July.   It was great to see this side of Mexico.  It is a lot different from the Gulf side.  Everything was green and lush since we were there in "rainy season".  It is very mountainous and reminded me of St. Lucia.

We toured several resorts while we were there including Melia Puerto Vallarta, Crown Paradise Club, Westin Resort & Spa, Samba Vallarta,  Riu Jalisco, Vallarta Palace and Riu Vallarta.  Some were in Puerto Vallarta and some were in Nuevo Vallarta (which is about 20 minutes south).  We stayed at the Golden Crown Paradise in Puerto Vallarta, which is an adults only all inclusive resort.  It had a great location and was a lot of fun.  We had fun going into downtown one afternoon to do some sightseeing and shopping.  It's a really neat area and right on the water.

By far the best thing we did while we were there was the LaVista Canopy Tour.  We would highly recommend it!!  There were 15 zip lines and we were wishing there were more.  It was definitely an experience we won't forget.

As always, we have lots of pictures from the resorts we toured.  Let us know if you would like to see them!
