Beaches Turks and Caicos May 2008 6/10/2008 1:27:36 PM Link 0 comments | Add comment  My family and I spent five days at Beaches Turks & Caicos in May. It was a perfect way to celebrate the end of school and kick off summer. We had an amazing time! I was a little concerned that it might be too "kiddy" for my twelve year old son. That wasn't the case at all. He had a great time and quickly got used to the "all inclusive" aspect. He took advantage of the fruit smoothies everyday and loved the Pizzaria by the pool. Another favorite was the X-Box Oasis.
The water was gorgeous. It was as clear as a swimming pool, deep turquoise and perfect temperature. We enjoyed snorkeling right off the beach, however, the highlight of our trip was the Kiddy Katt cruise. The Kiddy Katt is a catamaran that took us out snorkeling and then to an island where we could collect shells and sand dollars. It also had a water slide on the back that was fun.
This is definitely one of our favorite family trips and we would love to go back. I have some awesome pictures I would be happy to e-mail if you're interested.
